“The day I “shot myself” could not have been more perfect – basking in the sun, sea breeze in my hair; it was a wonderful experience. I love that this project gave free artistic range to use whatever props I wanted and I could really explore my feminine side in an ‘almost’ secluded, gorgeous environment. Yes, there were a few passersby, but I felt completely confident and comfortable regardless of the local stragglers enjoying an afternoon walk on the beach. I love photography, and being behind the lens, so this was the perfect opportunity to ‘play’ on both sides. It’s an experience I hope to experiment with again in the near future, as the ideas keep pouring out of me even though the shoot is complete. Perhaps we will meet again. Until then, carpe diem, seize the day!”
